We decided we needed a little winter get-away, needed to leave the slushy, gray grind behind. So we found a couple of cheap tickets on priceline.com and woke up in sunny Tuscany, in a charming little villa overlooking the vineyards with the Duomo in the distance. The adorable (wine-swilling) chef served us the most delectable lasagna that first night we were there. We sat out under the stars, sipping a regional wine - Gnarly-head Old Vin Zin. Then the chef's wife brought out a most delightful dessert that she said had been a secret recipe handed down from grandmother to granddaughter. Wish you were here! Signing off now, Becky S.
